For anyone in any way interested in geology, how the world works or simply giant lumps of rock spewing water and god knows what else, Yellowstone is an essential place to visit. The National Park itself is vast and full of incredible sights with more than half of all the world's geysers being found in the park. It also sits on top of a supervolcano, which is less endearing. Alongside the incredible geothermal features Yellowstone is the home of many different species of wildlife, including the oldest native bison herd in the United States.
